Our company has been founded on August, 30th 2000 in Heidelberg.
Our main goal is the production and marketing of peptides, peptide
analogues, bioconjugates, and peptide specific antisera.
The manager of the company Dr. H.-R. Rackwitz has a solid experience
in all the above mentioned fields which he gained during his affiliation with the German
Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. This is well documented
in a large number of publications
where Dr. Rackwitz is a coauthor.
The laboratories of the company are located at the Campus in
Heidelberg so that a close contact can be reached with a large
number of customers.
Our company would be especially grateful if the customers who
used the peptide services of Dr. Rackwitz in the past would use
our services also in the future. We will do our best to maintain
the same high quality of our products. This is the reason why
we do not offer peptides of minor quality, which can be purchased
on the market as "immunograde" peptides. Our experience has shown
that only a qualitatively "good" peptide give rise to a "good"
antiserum or to "good" results in research. Unpurified peptides
therefore will be produced only on request of the customer.
We want to emphasize all our customers to come into contact
with us in order to discuss any questions concerning our services
before ordering the peptides or other services by e-mail, fax or online. We would
like to put our knowledge into the planning of your projects.
Especially the right choice of a specific peptide sequence is
the only successs for producing a highly specific antiserum.
The hardware of our laboratories allows the simultaneous syntheses
of up to 48 peptides with a length of 30 amino acids. Another
synthesizer can be used to get yields of peptide amounts up to
one gramm. This synthesizer also enables the syntheses of longer
peptides up to chain length of 50 or more amino acids. Furthermore we have several HPLC systems for the
purification and analysis of the peptides. For the mass spectrometric
analysis we have access to a highly resolving MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer.
